beautiful piece. very cool idea for a series. did you have any inspiration from "eggs on a plate without the plate" or any other dali paintings?

Thank you! No Dali inspiration. A bit of a quirk really in that I was painting, shall we say mucking about and destroying, the one called egg on a string in spring. A string I had tied to the easel fell over the painting and that and it's occurring shadow started the whole thing. Damned if I remember what brought the egg into play. Found myself with a hot glue gun and a hard boiled egg, glued the string to the egg. Took a digital photo, then painted it onto the painting. Then the damn thing birthed in my head,,, I have at least 12 scribbled, sketched ideas for the series. :hungry: ,,,
